Out of the Gate

To blog or not to blog? That, my friends, seriously is the question. Who in the world would want to put their thoughts, opinions, and general craziness out into the electronic universe for everyone to see? Is it worth it to be honest, or should you sugarcoat it a little, to sound cool, or sweet, or likeable? Do you write about the way you truly think and are, or do you tweak it a little, and make that opinion or story just a tad more interesting and agreeable? Questions I could ask myself, along with what could have possibly possessed me into thinking that I needed to keep an online journal, or whatever I may want to call it. "Blog." Yeah, "blog" is good. It kinda makes sense, since blog is really a nonsense word, and hey, I will probably string together a lot of nonsense words from this first post on. Blog represents the hodge-podge of whatever people want to put on these things: general thoughts, poems, pictures, etc. Is it a little egocentric? Definitely, but who cares? It is high time for me to "try a little somethin', somethin,'" as my grandma would have said. Just a new attempt at revving up the Boonzie motor a wee bit. I'll try to keep it as real as I can, and maybe even throw in stuff that could be perceived as slightly interesting reading, but no promises...

Blog man Blog. It's like online therapy and it's good for you. It's quite a release to throw our your feelings to thousands of people who don't know you. Good luck with it...
